Doska

Draw together in real time with team and with your AI MCP, describe architecture in Mermaid or D2 and keep it in sync with the board

The diagram is in Miro. The docs are in Confluence. The slides are in Google Slides. Three weeks later, all three disagree with each other — and with production.

I got tired of that, so I built Doska — my pet project, and my first post here 🙂

The idea: one place where the diagram, the documentation and the presentation are the same thing.

→ Draw the architecture once. Put it into a doc and into a slide — it stays live. Change the board, and the doc and the deck update by themselves.

→ Let your AI do the boring part. Doska has an MCP server, so you can ask Claude or Cursor: "Draw our system from this Terraform, write a runbook for it, and make a 5-slide review." It does it right inside your team's workspace — real shapes you can edit, not a picture.

→ Show what actually runs. Import Terraform, Kubernetes or Docker Compose and get the architecture as it really is. When the infrastructure changes, Doska tells you which parts of the diagram are out of date.

→ Present without re-drawing. Turn a board into slides that walk through the diagram step by step — one click, one hop.

Plus real-time editing, comments, version history, and UML class and use case diagrams for the students out there.
